- “I am thrilled to be a member of the Olympic athlete team and to represent Spain. I believe that if I perform well in singles tennis, I will also excel in doubles. However, I need to carefully review what happened this week and put in a lot of effort. I am confident that Carlos Alcaraz will perform at a high level because he is feeling very confident. We will practice together this week. Rafael Nadal mentioned,”

Nadal won two gold medals at the Games. He won the first one in singles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the doubles gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he teamed up with Marc Lopez.
