It will be extremely difficult for Tom Brady to complete his broadcasting duties if he does end up owning a portion of the Las Vegas Raiders. According to ESPN, if the new Fox analyst’s application to become an owner is accepted, the NFL will impose a number of restrictions. The site stated that Tuesday’s league meetings in Minneapolis included a discussion about the likelihood of it. Brady, as an owner, will not only be bound by the league’s anti-gambling and anti-tampering policies, but he will also be prohibited from:
Accessing a different team’s premises
Observation techniques
participating digitally or in person in meetings for broadcast production
Attacking officials or groups.
Brady will still be able to call games for Fox, but he won’t be able to do one of the most important tasks of the job. Meetings with players and coaches provide the commentary team with more information about the match they will broadcast. Brady’s fellow Fox employees would be exempt from all of the limitations.
Brady’s choice to buy a stake in Las Vegas might be complicated by the limitations. Brady was reportedly in talks to become a part of the team’s ownership group in May 2023, a few months after he announced his retirement from professional football. To become an official owner, Brady must first get his proposal approved by the league’s finance committee, which is still pending.
Brady’s 25% ownership stake in the Raiders franchise and the price he is paying are unknown. An NFL owner who asked to remain anonymous told USA TODAY Sports that he thought the conflict-of-interest issue had been settled during the owners meetings in Orlando at the end of March. Because of how delicate the situation was, the owner did not want to be named.

Brady, who will play alongside Kevin Burkhardt on the network’s top team, is scheduled to start the first season of his ten-year, $375 million contract at Fox. The Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns game in Week 1 will be the quarterback’s first assignment since winning seven Super Bowls.
