With over 200 artists’ works on display in Wellington’s TSB Arena and Shed 6, the 2024 NZ Art Show is expected to be an incredible exhibition, building on the huge success of its predecessors. Over two thousand thought-provoking pieces of art created especially for this occasion will be unveiled in honor of 21 remarkable years of introducing art enthusiasts to outstanding art.

These artists, who come from all over New Zealand, bring a diverse range of styles and mediums to their work, ranging from street art to expressive, representational to abstract, and everything in between. Their varied output, which includes paintings, photographs, glass, ceramics, metalwork, woodworking, digital prints, and more, captures the lively and dynamic spirit of New Zealand’s creative scene.
The NZ Art Show’s executive director, Carla Russell, is proud to be representing these gifted people. “This year’s show features artists of an absolutely remarkable caliber. They constantly challenge themselves to explore new creative avenues and push the limits of their respective mediums. It is a privilege to present their extraordinary abilities at the NZ Art Show.”
There are well-known favorites among the featured artists, as well as a welcome addition of 25% new artists to the program. Their varied upbringings and artistic experiences give the show depth and richness.
The NZ Art Show, which was the first, biggest, and most prosperous art exhibition in New Zealand, is still a shining example for both artists and art lovers. With most of its pieces costing less than $5,000, its dedication to affordability and accessibility guarantees that art will always be inclusive and available to everyone.
Visit the TSB Arena Wellington from May 31 to June 2, 2024 NZ Art Show, to witness the ingenuity of New Zealand’s top artists.
