Katy Perry’s comeback hasn’t exactly gone as planned because of the controversy surrounding the release of her new song, Women’s World. When Katy released a clip of the song on her TikTok account, fans immediately reacted negatively to the lyrics and the people Katy had collaborated with on the song.

Katy is well-known for her catchy hits from our adolescent years, like “Teenage Dream” and “Part of Me.” Her most recent album, Smile, was released in 2020. But after being absent from the pop scene for four years, a lot has happened.

New music won’t be well received unless it has a catchy sound that could become a TikTok hit because fans respond to new music on social media much faster. Not to add that anyone in the music business who has been the target of accusations is promptly fired, and for good reason.

The new teaser was not well received in the comment area, I guess. “Are these AI lyrics???,” “shocked the album isn’t called live, laugh, love with this single,” and “why does this feel like the sims music” were among the harsh remarks left. People truly believed that the song was created by artificial intelligence (AI) or that Katy Perry had recycled it after another pop singer had rejected it.

Katy Perry has been collaborating with Dr. Luke on her new album, according to Rolling Stone. Dr. Luke, a music producer who has collaborated with Kesha, will be behind Katy’s upcoming single. A number of cases claimed that Dr. Luke had abused Kesha “sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally.” But, the two reached a settlement over their claims and counterclaims in court, and Dr. Luke vehemently refuted Kesha’s

Kesha seemingly hit back at Katy Perry working with Dr. Luke tweeting “lol” shortly after the snippet of her single was released. The lack of explaining what this tweet was about made fans think there was shade involved. Silence speaks volumes as they say.

Katy perry then deletes her initial tiktok, which teased her single, in a tense way.
This added to the rumors that the song was actually written by ai, and that she had seen the comment section.
Since she has 7.3 million followers on tiktok, it was not a subtle advertising tactic to remove the video. She was rumored to have returned to the studio to re-record the entire album, but no such thing was confirmed.

On the 22nd of june, fans got a new single teaser that looks a lot better than the first tiktok clip.
Fans apologised for criticizing her previous video, saying it sounded a lot better.
the singer lip syncs to a more upbeat song with different lyrics such as “it’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it.
” She then restores the tiktok she had taken down with the ai-speech song, which is strange.
Katy perry’s latest album, the drama, is certainly a rough start to a comeback.
