The College of Calabar has declared that three understudies of the institution who were captured around three weeks back have been discharged.
A explanation discharged by the Open Relations Officer of the school, Effiong Eyo, said the understudies were discharged unharmed and have been rejoined with their parents.
Eyo said the Bad habit Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, who gotten the understudies in her office, said thanks to security organizations within the state for their collaboration and maintained endeavors that driven to the discharge of the understudies .
In the statement, the Vice Chancellor also thanked the parents of the students for their efforts and cooperation with the school management during the time their children were in captivity.
She advised students on campus to be cautious in their movements and always report any signs of suspicious movements around them to school security officials so that immediate action can be taken.

A source at the school identified the three students as Ojang Precious Ebejin, a 200 level student of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery Ugwu Chukwuemeka, a 300 level genetics and biotechnology student; and Damilola Dixon, a final year student in the same department.
